Manchester, England

Manchester is one of Britain's largest cities but buzzes with the warmth and welcome of a village. Home to three universities, this is a city for students - offering plenty of nightclubs, bars and pubs in which to meet friends after a hard day of study. The city centre has some of the best shops and restaurants in England as well as famous venues like the Hard Rock Café which celebrates the city's important pop music heritage.
